How does the live member lookup work?
When a guest enters their email at the WiFi portal, CaptiveWiFi queries Como in real time. If a matching member record exists it is retrieved immediately and the visit is logged to that profile. No duplicate records are created and no manual matching is required.
Is consent handled compliantly?
Yes. CaptiveWiFi only syncs guests to Como where explicit marketing consent has been given at the WiFi portal. Every consent record includes the exact wording shown to the guest, a timestamp and the guest's IP address — giving you a full audit trail for GDPR purposes.
